This theme was brought up by my friend Caroline who I usually take photo shoots with for fun at home. We'd decided to wear elements of black and since many people associate red and pink to valentines day we'd like to make this different and yet interesting. No one was present to take both of our pictures but we took turn snapping portraits of each other, so you know who's behind the camera.

I wen't for a rocker chic look with leather jacket and band t-shirt but I kept it girly with the red skater skirt and my wavy hair. Caroline had an all black outfit giving you a fancy but sophisticated and classy look.

Yes, I know it's been a while since I last posted. No, my exams are not done yet. Yes, I wore something most people usually won't on Chinese New Year.

So hello readers! I just finished my Preliminary Examinations right before Chinese New Year's Eve so you might even see some happiness on my face. But I still have my actual IGCSE and many other things to come.

So I'll cut to the chase and tell you my outfit.

Although it's a tradition to wear new outfits, I recycled my necklace and shoes instead. I bought my top from my trip to Bali, it was from nassgorju (check my previous post)- but it's still new. The dress was bought from Apparel After The Dark, which is owned by the super-cool Amelia Bunjamin. I loved the collection but decided to keep it simple, for it would allow me to mix and match the dress with other things. The shoes were bought in Taiwan during my summer trip to Taiwan-USA. And yes, the lighting wasn't at it's best; its been raining quite a lot these last few days.

More post are coming so stay tuned on my blog!

P.S. My hair is tinted slightly purple because I used Xpert hair mask
